An investigation has been launched after the bodies of two middle-aged men were found in a North East house.
The men were found dead at a property on Welbeck Road, Walker, Newcastle, on Friday afternoon.
A check was made on the 59-year-old and 60-year-old after it was reported that they had not been seen for some time and had failed to attend a number of appointments.

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said the deaths were being treated as “unexplained”.
She said: “At 2pm on Friday, officers received a report of concern for the welfare of two men who had failed to attend appointments and had not been seen for a period of time.
“Police subsequently attended an address on Welbeck Road in Walker. Sadly the men, aged 59 and 60, were found to be deceased.
“Their deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are ongoing.
“Their next of kin have been notified and our thoughts are with them at this time.”
